Re: So.. there's a Nall plushie on ebay

Ouch. I knew another version existed (there's a photo in the Japanese TSS guide) but didn't think one would ever show up. Sorry to have missed my chance. I seriously thought about buying it myself. But in the end I like the second version of Nall better (especially considering the price) and figure...

Re: Xenoblade coming to America!

I picked mine up on Friday, unfortunately due to the holiday weekend I immediately had to travel out of town and just got back home yesterday. So... I haven't had a chance to fire up Xenoblade Chronicles yet.

You're not missing much. Chrono Cross kinda... SUCKED. It's definitely no consolation for Squaresoft and now Square-Enix not giving us a Chrono Trigger 2 or Chrono Break. Your opinion of Chrono Cross has my support. And to be quite honest I'm not sure that a Chrono Trigger 2 or Chrono Break would h...

Re: Animation Fail Part 2

Look at those wide-set eyes... x_x There's hardly a frame in that whole scene that I think is esthetically pleasing. (Yes, at risk of sounding impossibly anal, I have looked at most frames of animation in the game individually...) As I recall it was added into the Playstation version, so its aftert...

I've always thought this shot of Leo looked very off-model.

ahh, I need to better investigate it. I've taken the cover off and noticed just the black leather before, but I never recall flipping it over.

Is there 2 different cover art variations for the US guide?

A quick look at amazon reveals two different covers, http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media ... 0966299337 was one only a prototype? I've only seen the one with Lemina, Lucia and Jean on the cover.

I'm a fan, my favorite reviews of his are the two animated Titanic reviews. There's a fair number I don't like.

Re: Duck Hunt

Unfortunately, because of their size and weight newer CRTs aren't too popular (I have an HD CRT TV). Good to know there's still enough demand that they get made, though. High def and runs my old light gun games? Win-win. They're getting tougher to find unless you want an off brand, I bought mine (a...

Re: Duck Hunt

Old game consoles generally look best on an old CRT TV. There's no input lag, even if your LCD has a gaming mode, input lag can be noticeable. LCDs and Plasma's don't refresh quite as quickly as a CRT rasters, a CRT can produce darker blacks and overall has a better image quality. Unfortunately, bec...

Sort of a spiritual successor to Tail Concerto, looks bright and fun and adventuresome. Shigema's a fan. A bit ago Nintendo of Europe licensed it for their region, and I found myself feeling a little bit left out in the cold. But no. Xseed's got my back. Tail Concerto is one of my favorit...

Re: Sega CD

I agree with the recommendations of Snatcher and Popful Mail. Lunar 2 is also a good choice, I'd recommend Sonic CD and Wonder Dog if you like Platformers. If you like shooters Keio's Flying Squadron is excellent. I assume you're getting a Sega CD 1 (hooks to the bottom) with that import cart? I don...
