Re: Final Fantasy XIII
It's kind of interesting that you dislike the battle system. I find it to be absolutely fantastic, one of the stronger points of the game.
Definitely don't care for the art direction though. Never have been a fan of Nomura's work.

Re: Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Sega Saturn Gamerip
No prob. Lunar 2's soundtrack is still my favorite from Iwadare and I will be keeping the gamerip up for as long as my website remains... or at least until an official soundtrack release happens. It continues to disappoint me that all these other games get the full treatment, yet Lunar 2 never has h...

Just posting the new link since I've revamped my website. The music is still available as before, just in a different spot.

Hard to believe I first posted them almost five years ago. Time sure does fly.

Re: New board!
To be honest, the one thing I'm hoping for the most from all of this is an actual, fully-featured, complete soundtrack release for this game, and the inevitable Eternal Blue remake. Seriously, isn't it about time the Lunar series gets that kind of treatment? Lesser known games have, and Iwadare's wo...

Re: Send a message to Square-Enix
Late to the party, but I just started going through some of these posts, and I just have to comment. That's far from all they understand. Games like Final Fantasy XI have been far below expectations, so they keep releasing expansion packs and trying to improve the game rather than just give up. This...

Re: Bush got the boot!
As part of the customs and courtesies that you have to learn with regard to the Middle East for those that deploy, soldiers are made to know that even showing the soles of your shoes to another person is considered extremely rude in the region. The implication is that the person you're showing the b...

Re: Bush got the boot!
Personally, I would rather be shot if I was the president. No you wouldn't. This is a silly statement. As far as the incident goes, the man should not be released immediately. Freedom of speech is one thing, but when you chuck your shoes at someone with the intent to cause physical harm, you have c...

Paypal has been reluctant to help me out, so once this dispute is resolved, my account will be permanently cancelled. I'm as enthusiastic to use your services Paypal, as you are to help me when I've been screwed. I've now gone directly to Apple support and sent them an email to get this whole proces...

Re: Hacked
Today has not been a good day. Oh, it started alright, went to work, nothing unusual. Before I went on lunch, I decided to check my bank account like I always do, just to make sure nothing is wrong. Today, something was wrong. $400 wrong. See, someone hacked into my iTunes account and took out $400...

Re: Putin accuses US of orchestrating Georgia conflict
Russia's aggressive behavior, that was initiated only after Georgia killed Russian peace keepers in South Ossetia who were there by UN mandate. I think this is relevant: Who Started Cold War II? by Patrick J. Buchanan The American people should be eternally grateful to Old Europe for having spiked t...

Re: Soviet Uni... erm, Russia
My analysis: Georgia made the first move. They used the opening ceremonies of the Olympics for cover as they went into South Ossetia, killing 12 and injuring over 150 Russian peace keepers that were in South Ossetia by UN mandate before this conflict erupted. Georgia was completely in the wrong. Rus...

Anytime you buy an Apple computer, buy the minimum amount of RAM possible. Apple rips people off big time with RAM upgrades. When I bought my refurbished iMac, I bought 4 GB of RAM for it through MacMall for just under $100, and that includes shipping costs. Installing it requires nothing more than ...

No amount of money banked is worth the hassle from my perspective. It is precisely why I live alone in a two-bedroom apartment these days. When you come home, you come home to relax. I consider the money you're not saving when you're not living with a roommate to be well invested... you get to use y...

Amazon sells used copies sometimes. Amazon directly doesn't sell them, but third parties can put them up, and there are many of them that maintain their business selling through Amazon. Might I make the recommendation to buy new, though? I say this mostly because when you buy used, none of the money...

Re: Best In-Game Dialogue Setup
Mass Effect's is the best. Varied camera angles and fully-voiced dialogue complete with appropriate facial expressions do a lot for the game. Some NPCs are obvious about their insincerity when they're trying to manipulate you to do something for them based on their facial expressions, and really, I ...

Re: Holy Smokes, GAME ARTS DEVELOPED SMASH BRAWL??? o.O
They may as well have Ryudo from Grandia II as the next secret character. His final smash would be Sky Dragon Slash, of course.
Alternatively, maybe we'll have bromides for all the characters that you have to find and collect. That'll be a little awkward.
