I hate to say it, but it's not worth buying the system for. But if you plan on getting other games the system is definately worth it. Castlevania, Mario Kart, Nintendogs, Trace Memory and others come to mind immediately. Advance Wars is supposed to be a wonderful strat/RPG. I'm sure others can give you a list of good games, including RPGs.

Don't forget Mario n Luigi partners in time ::twitch::
Plus you can play your Gba games on it also... which also means Mario n Luigi Super Star Saga!! ::twitch::

i agree with punkabof, the DS is cool, but even though i havent played the game yet, i wouldnt buy it for the sole purpose of one game.

I was about to before the game came out, but now that everyone hates it I don't think I can. Not to mention I'm poor.

Well, I'm spending a lot of time on Mario Kart DS and Mario 64 DS right now. Both of those are much fun. KF

Yeah, I'm hooked on Mario Kart right now. If you get a DS, yeah, pick up Lunar, but just don't expect the greatness of the main two Lunar games in the series, because it's not there.

Yes, you can play GBA games on the DS. Lunar Legend, Sword of Mana, FFIV Advance, the Golden Sun's, etc. There's tons of other RPGs out there on it too.

I think they're selling the DS with Mario Kart right now too, which is a good deal.
