I'm MegaTuga. Weird nick? well I use it a lot and it has nothing to do with the game you all talk about. ^^

I'm Portuguese (probably the very fist one you met.), and I got to know about Lunar games about 3 months ago and I suddently found myself loving the game. Not for the gameplay (I don't like the usual RPG systems much with EXP and all), but for the lovely story and deep cherecters.

I've only Played Lunar Legend (GBA) so far, but I play to play the entire series. I still don't know how I will find the games but hopefully someone around will be able to seel me or a Collector's edition is released or even in last resort I will ship the games.

Anyways, I think that is all. I'm very grateful of being here and as you can see I'm a newbie in this. (So I will stand away from theards not related with the games I've played to avoid spoilers)

If there's anything you want to know about me shoot.

On a side note: I am mostly a fan of megaman games, so getting a fan of Lunar feels really weird in an awesome way. I hope I can relationate well with all of you.

Bem-vindo!

A real newcomer! That's great. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Lunar Legend. Most players like the other versions of Lunar 1 better, and there are so many versions to chose from...

If you liked Lunar Legend, you're bound to love the rest of the Lunar series ('cept maybe Dragon Song - feel free to skip that one).

Welcome to the boards! KF

Hi there, MegaTuga. You're actually not the first Portuguese I've ever met since I'm Portuguese myself (okay, Portuguese-American, technically -- I was born in the USA, but my parents are from Portugal). So, are you actually Portuguese in Portugal or of Portuguese descent but living somewhere else like me?

I'd say hes the real Portuguese.

If you are the Portugese Portugese, good to have another European on the board (haha, no pun intended). Otherwise... well still, welcome to LunarNET :).

Like you, Lunar Legend was also my introduction to the series. Since then (about 2 years ago?), I've played through various other Lunar titles, and like others said, you'll enjoy others even more.

Now if you are Portugese (the European one), you'll have to either import or *cough* download *cough* most Lunar games. The only Lunars that made it to Europe are Lunar DS (not really worth it) and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (DL only on PSN).

Oh yea also, Lunar: EB for Sega CD is the best Lunar title :P

And Me thinking I was lonely. Well knowing the Language is a start and yes I am Portuguese-Portuguese.

Yeah I heard that Lunar DS is really not the thing... so I guess I probably will coughdowbnliaditcough just to at least have a view at the whole story.

Got Silver Star Story Compelte recently and It's much more complicated than this GBA version. MUCH more.

I would argue that Lunar DS really isn't worth even the time to download it... It just was painful to slog through -- I got it a couple years ago and still haven't finished it as it just was too tedious. Compare this to Lunar:SSH for the PSP (a remake of Silver Star Story Complete that's much closer to the PSX version than Lunar Legend was), which I couldn't put down and finished in about 5 days or so.

Welcome, Mega Tuga! I believe you truly are the very first Portugese person I ever met. Thank you for helping me achieve such a milestone.

Just wondering if you were from the same part as my family (they're from the Azores). That's all. :)
