I recently went to a Local H show that was incredible to say the least. They're promoting a live CD that has no new songs, so since they have nothing new to play, they had the audience pick the setlist. We got ballots when we walked in the door with around 50-60 songs categorized on what looked like a menu. There was "appetizers" for intro songs, "spicy selections" for the faster songs, "desserts" as the special songs reserved for encores, and a special write-in section called "special request to the chef." So we got to hear a lot of great songs that they don't play too often. They even played my write-in!
As if that wasn't cool enough, Scott Lucas who's half of Local H worked the merch counter where the ballots were dropped. He even signed a CD for me:
(Admins, if anyone complains that it's too big, make it a link).
A little hard to read yes, but it made my night nonetheless.
I know what it says, but I want to know what you think it says...
