Name that NES game...

Post by GhaleonOne »

Saw this on GAFs forums:

http://remora.dyndns.org/visa/nes.php

I got 10/40 of them.

1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 17, 30, 36 and 39.

There's a few I know I know, but can't place them. 3, 22 and 23 specifically.

I knew three of them  ....haven't played to much nes games, even though I have one...never had much games on it. I had megaman, mario bros. 1&3, blue shadow and duck hunt for as far I know. I had more but forgot which games that were...

Heh, I only recognize one of those. But I've only played about three NES games total.

I'm not good at this at all. I've gotten 2. XD 5 and 15. And one only by a good guess.

3 looks familiar though. I mean, really. There must've been a game like it on the C64, I'm thinking, something like... dunno.

Just figured out three. It didn't like the way I put the name in originally and took the subtitle instead. And no, it wasn't on the C64.

It IS a well known series though.

I could recognize seven of them immediately. I'll have to think about the rest, though. KF

I was an RPG fan from the start, and they didn't have any of those up there.

They didn't even have Final Fantasy 1. Blah.
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

Apparently not. We could make one here I guess. Just put them in spoiler tags so people can still try on their own. Numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 17, 30, 36 and 39. I'm curious which ones I missed because some were familiar and I probably just got my titles mixed up on a few. Maybe we can pull together and figure them all out.
1) Gun.Smoke
3) Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
4) The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
5) Mario Bros.
7) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
9) Blades of Steel
11) Contra
12) Duck Hunt
17) Battletoads
30) Ninja Gaiden
36) Batman
39) Wizards & Warriors III: Kuros: Visions of Power
I only glanced at it, but how could I have not recognized ....#7 right away!? I used to play that game all the time. Me and my friends used to go to the rollerskating rink when we were young and just play the arcade version of it. Plus my friend has it on NES still, but his stopped working.

Well, the arcade version was different. The first one had a different style of play than the arcade game. The arcade game became the second NES game, and then spawned more games based on that gameplay. I personally liked the first one more but all of them were pretty fun.

Hmm...I'm not sure if the one my friend has on NES is the first or second...it's been a while since I played it.

Just put the word spoiler between [ and ] and then close it with /spoiler between the same symbols. Everything that is a spoiler is between that.

Very top of the page.
